課程在增進學生對老人口腔照護的知能與使命感，培養學生具備以多元化觀點評估及照護老人的實務能力。
The course was designed to help students to understand the knowledge and skills about geriatric oral health care. The content includes aging process, assessment of geriatric oral problems, physical and psychological problems and skills in dental practice.

了解口衛士在高齡者牙科醫療與照護裡所扮演的角色
講述法、討論法、問答法。以解說課本為主，輔以口腔衛生方面例子作為說明。
