Course Description

本課程主要介紹有關老人學之重要意涵，並由生理、心理及社會行為層面探討老化相關重要議題與照護管理需求。課程內容包括老人學範疇、老人的生理與疾病、老人的心理健康、老人的生涯規畫、老人的保健與醫療、老人的社會福利與社會工作等。本課程使學生對老人照護管理有一概括性認識，期能激發學生投入本專業的意願與興趣，或有計畫的選擇其生涯取向。

This course is intended to introduce the students to field of Gerontology and focuses on biological, psychological and sociological aspects of aging. This course provides knowledge of physical, mental and social age-related changes and the corresponding care knowledge, skills and attitudes will be developed that may be explored for students’ future career paths.

Course Objectives

學習本課程後，學生能認識、了解並熟悉：

1.老人學範疇與理論。

2.生理、心理、及社會性的老化過程。

3.有關老年人的婚姻與家庭生活。

4.有關老年人的工作、退休與經濟。

5.有關老年人的休閒活動。

6.有關老年人的社會福利與社會工作。

7.有關老年人的保健與醫療。

8.老人照護議題與挑戰。

9.臺灣地區老人照護管理概況與世界潮流。
